Immersion Assembly Term 3

Yesterday was the first day of term 3 and we had a immersion assembly. Our topic for this term is Trade and Enterpri$e. When I came in the hall I saw Mr Burt selling some toys, chocolate and rugby balls. Team 1 is learning about money wise which means spending money wisely. The teachers from team 2 are learning how many kids like Chocolate or Vanilla and if Chocolate has more likes then they should make more Chocolate.

Team 3 are learning about how to choose the right jobs so they can get more good money. There are amazing jobs out there like Police, Surgeon, Cow Girl, Fire Man and the Army. Team 4 are learning about the emotions when they find money, get money from doing chores or other stuff. Lucky last, but not least was team 5 and we are learning about being Financially Responsible about spending, sharing and saving money.  

Expo Opens

Today we had a Expo in the team 5 Common Room. Our Expo was about our inquiry which is Tinkering, Tools & Toys. Two presenters from each class's from 1 to 5 present their projects. My group's project was a shoe storage. There was so Project's in the street and I think the little kids enjoyed it. Please leave me a comment thank you very much for everything. Shoe Rack Finished

This term our inquiry topic is Tinkering, Tools & Toys. My group the JAKGE has been building a shoe rack with Mr Wiseman's help. We have finally finished our shoe rack and it looks incredibly awesome. We made a shoe rack because our shoes looks ugly outside and some shoes goes missing sometimes. We had a few problems when we were drilling in the screws into the wood not only that we were first going to build a shoe storage, but with pipes and we found out that we couldn't find any big pipes that our shoes can fit in so we changed it to a shoe storage that can spin around then finally we changed it to this simple one. Poly Fest Day

Hello everybody as you can see I have wrote three good paragraph's about Poly Fest. Poly Fest was fantastic and next year I want to go there again. I have learnt so much from Polly fest and got sweet as things from there for free isn't that cool. I hope you leave me a comment and thank you for viewing on my blog. Have a nice day.

Yesterday in the morning team five students went to Poly Fest. When we were in the bus I was reading a book and the cool kids were at the back of the bus giggling around with Mr Wiseman and the nice kids were in the front of the bus just talking.

When we have arrived at the Manukau Sport Bowl area ( Which is where the Poly Fest is held at. ) we had to wait until Mrs Tele'a's class, but actually they came before us and was already in the Poly Fest so we  had to wait for them for no reason. By the way when we got in we walked over to this big ASB thing and we had to sit down. When we were sitting down we had a special guest come and it was John Key. It was a big surprise for everybody.

Poly Fest was so cool because we got to go to different station's and every time we go to different station's we sometimes get free stuff. At Poly Fest I learned what is a 3D Printer is. Poly Fest was awesome I hope next year it will be more awesome.
