Deconstructing & Re-crafting

This is my Deconstructing & Re-crafting writing. My literacy teacher wrote a sentence or two about anything and then we have to destroy the piece of writing she wrote and then re-write it again in a better version. I really like practicing my deconstructing & re-crafting because it helps me write in a better descriptive way. At the bottom is the piece of writing that my literacy teacher wrote and underneath that is my piece of writing. I hope you like my deconstructing & re-crafting writing.

As I sat on the dock, I felt something tugging on my line. I tried to pull it up but it felt like I was being pulled in. I tried to think of what to do. I looked around but there was no-one to help me.

As Kate was enjoying sitting on the beautiful dock, she felt something tugging on her fishing rod. Kate was so frustrated she stood up and tried to pull it up, but it felt like she was being pulled into the freezing ice cold water. She didn’t want that to happen so Kate was thinking very hard of what to do. Nobody was around her so she couldn’t get some help, but she kept looking for somebody.

During she was seeking for help the thing just disappeared into nowhere just like that. Then later on, the thing was back and then it started tugging real hard on her line. Kate was getting very very annoyed of it. Suddenly Kate had a brilliant idea. She slid her hand in her left warm wooly pocket and then dialed her dad’s phone number and rang him. Ring ring ring. In a few seconds later her dad, Phil answered his phone and she was blabbering to him

Rough Draft

Hi there here is my Rough Draft writing about a single mum called Charlie and it is her birthday. She decides to do something crazy and fun for her birthday. I hope you like it and please leave me a comment thank you and have a nice day. By the way there's a picture of her with a sign and it says World Peace because she really want's World Peace. Bye.

It’s Saturday 17th of July and it’s Charlie’s Birthday. She is 245 years old and is a single mum with three kids and they are Danie, Tyler and J.T. As the sun shone on her face she woke up excitingly and got dressed in Purple clothing because she loves the colour Purple and when I mean loves I mean loves. She then brushed her hair and also brushed her teeth after that she put on her same old lucky stinky socks on she headed out the door to walk to the Chocolate Cake Store. When she had entered the Chocolate Cake Store she had bought herself a big chocolate mud cake for her to eat alone for breakfast by the way she really loves chocolates (everyday she always eats Chocolates).

At last she had finished eating the whole Chocolate mud cake. Anyways when she finished eating her stomach gave her a bad stomach aek so she rested for a little while. While she was resting she was thinking of doing something crazy for her Birthday like Sky Diving so she can get over her fear of heights. So after her stomach aek she was on a plane in the air high in the sky and she was afraid and scared of jumping off the plane (it took her almost an hour to jump off the plane) then she counted on to three and when she said three she jumped off the plane and she was screaming her heart out and it looked like she was losing control of her body (she was crazy as hell trust me).

A few minutes later she landed on earth and saw a group of young and fit people running a marathon so she decided to run with them too. During the marathon they got back to their city and they ran past a bank and Charlie had stopped running because she was going to rob the ASB bank, but first she she stuffed her hand inside her right hand cardigan pocket and grabbed out a black beanie that has two holes on it so that Charlie’s eyes can see where she’s going. Quickly she ran out the ASB bank with Billions of cash and she ran all the way to that Chocolate Cake Store because all that running made her hungry again so she took off her black beanie and she went to the cake store and she ate another big Chocolate mud cake.

Finally she got back home and when she opened the door all you can hear was HAPPY BIRTHDAY MUM! and she was so shocked. When they finished eating another chocolate mud cake which is her favourite cake the Police’s came to her house and when the Police knocked on the door Charlie opened the door and she was nervous as if she was going to jail. “Are you Charlie Brook’’ said the Police and Charlie replied back no sir I am Cathy Brook I think you are looking for my twin sister Charlie Brook. The Police’s asked her where do you think Charlie Brook lives and she said she lives at Tauranga so the Police’s went and she was so happy the Police’s went so she can enjoy her birthday party with her children.     

World War One Movie

As you can see this movie is about World War One. In this movie it show how the mans fought in the great war and leaving their beloved family at home. Heaps of mans signed up to join the war, but they thought it was a travel to see the amazing wonderful World, but it wasn't.

I learnt that World War One began at Gallipoli the 28 of July 1914 and lasted until 11 November 1918 so they fought for four years. Heaps of mens died and some came back injured and some came back just okay.

Samsonite

My group aka the Nga Kiwi's was reading an Kiwi Kids article about Samsonite. Samsonite is a luggage that has a GPS in it and it can locate where you are. But not only that instead of pulling you're bag you can just walk and you're luggage can follow you because it is motorized. What I most found interesting is that your bag can follow you wherever you go because when your bag is heavy you can't pull it so it can pull it's self.

I really want a Smart Suitcase because it is helpful for you when you are travelling around the world well maybe. Samsonite is really a SMART technology.

Technology In WW1

This afternoon Mr Burt (our principal) came to talk to the team 5 about his grandpa and if technology is good or bad? Mr Burt first was talking about his grandpa, that went to war. When Mr Burt's grandpa saw the first bike, he got one of them too. Most of the boys and men's bought bikes, but the ladies didn't because they wore long dress's and when they would lift their leg up people would see their nickers so yeah.

Next Mr Burt told us if technology is good or bad and he told us the New Zealand army spend heaps of pounds to make weaponary's and big machine to destroy the other country's. Before World War One New Zealand built a big great ship called the dreadnought, Airplanes that had guns on the propeller, Canons & Tanks. When we would build something like those things that I just wrote the Germans would build one too, but a even better one. when Mr Burt had finished he told us what he thinks if the technology is good or bad. This is what I think about the technology. I think it is good technology and bad like using a net book like it is helping you learn and you can hack into people's property, but I wouldn't do that because I am positive.
