I think that the new Party government of New Zealand is going to work out pretty fine. Why? Because Winston Peters has chosen the Labour Party to be government. (Yay!) I think that choosing the Labour Party is a very smart excellence choice there for, they have very good policies and great ideas for New Zealand Housing, Education and more brilliant stuff.
But for sure why did Winston Peters make New Zealand wait that long?? To me it was pretty obvious that the Labour Party would've won.
This blog is a record of my learning during the years I was at Pt England School through to Tamaki College.

Party Choices
In our social Studies class we have been looking in to the New Zealand Party election and some things about the Mp and Parliament. As a class we have made our own Party election so we know what they do when you have to vote in the New Zealand election and what Party has the best Policies for when they win the election. Before all this I was voting for the Labour party because they had some good policies like when they win. They would stop the state house building and help out the ones that don't have a home and they're living in the streets. But now I am thinking of choosing the Maori party because they have some good policies too like helping out in the Education and the family in needs. And so I vote Maori Party for local MP.

If I were a Prime Minister for a day
If I were a Prime Minister for a day I would make the prices for everything in New Zealand $0.00 so then people wouldn't worry about buying food for their families, getting a new car, buying a house or like paying off their housing bills. But that's only going to be for a day. And I hope that will make some people like the homeless enjoy a day for once in their life time. So that means they can go to malls get some free clothes and probably get heaps of food for them selves.

Government

The government in New Zealand sorts out important stuff like our taxes, funds, citizenship's for people and housing problems for people that live here in New Zealand and other important stuff like that. I know that when it comes to elections, people from 18 and over have to vote or else they will get a fine. A fine to pay because they didn't vote in the elections.
I don't really know that much about the New Zealand Government but I can say that they are doing a good job. I know that there are 6 or 7 different parties in the government. There is the Labour party, Green party, Maori party, ACT party, New Zealand first party and I forgot the last one or two but that's all I know about the New Zealand Government. Thanks for reading this blog post I hope you learned something from this. And I hope you enjoy the rest of your day and goodbye.

Push & Pull Factors
In migration, push factors is when you forcefully push people away to a different place or country. And Pull factors is when you have to leave where you are currently staying to a new place or country.
My grandpa's sister & husband was in a situation like this. They were pulled into New Zealand which is called pull factors. They were pulled to New Zealand so they can live a happier better life then living in Tonga.
But then my grandpa's sister left New Zealand because her mother just recently died in probably her late 80's or something. So when she left she also left behind her husband called Fine. This is a true story about my family members so I can't tell you everything that happened but, later on a few weeks later Fine flew back to Tonga because of some important issues that happened and because he wasn't allowed to live with me after what happened to me.
So at the beginning of the story they were pulled to New Zealand for a better happier future but, then at the end of the story one person was pulled back to Tonga and the other person was pushed back to Tonga.

My Social Studies Exams Reflection
Last week starting from Wednesday all the way through to Friday the whole school of Tamaki College began our middle of the year school tests. The tests were about what we have been learning about and all kinds of things. On Friday we did our Social studies exam. I thought that I went okay with our Social studies exam.
I think that this went okay because during the Social studies period I was doing my work, listening to my teacher and actually working my butt off for everything. Of course I didn't get everything 100% like how we were supposed to write what we learned back in Term 1 but I know I tried my best and that's all that I could do.
For my exams that coming up next I will have to work hard and keep trying and finish my tasks so I can improve on my tests.

Positive Digital Footprint
It is important to have a positive digital footprint because when you are doing something negative online you leave footprints on the internet and you don't want anybody to see what you were doing so you should always think about everything twice. Also if you think that when you delete your history on your computer or phone or something you might think it's deleted forever and nobody can see what you have deleted but, really somebody (hacker or somebody good with computers) can just be stalking on you at that very moment. So remember everything you do online you will always leave a digital footprint. I just want to stay make sure you have a positive digital footprint online. Thank you for listening and hope you have learned something. Good bye.
