Hello blog viewers now that the Olympics is coming up this is just a blog post kind of about it. If I was alive in 776 BC I would compete in Boxing because I just like punching people for fun and that I can release all my anger feelings into it. In the 776 BC they didn't have any boxing gloves they had long strips of leather wrapped around their hands. I hope you have learnt a little something from my blog post.

ReplyDeleteWelcome to the Winter Learning Journey programme! I am so glad that you have chosen to participate and that you have already completed the first activity. I read in your blog that you chose boxing. That's a very brave choice! I would imagine that it would have been very difficult for boxers to compete in the ancient games without gloves. Their hands would have become very red, sore and bruised - ouch!
I hope that you choose to continue on with your learning journey this holiday. There are a number of boxing athletes competing at the modern day Olympic games and you can learn more about the sport and the athletes on Day 3 and Day 4 of the programme.
